Recently got installed a 8.58KW system by Sunsearch

"We installed a solar hot water system in 1977 and maintained it ourselves until 1999 when it became necessary to replace the leaking hot water tank and aged collectors on the roof.  We turned to Sunsearch for the replacement of the tank and installation of two new solar collectors. Subsequently, there were some minor problems with the installation.  The personnel from Sunsearch corrected the problem. Sunsearch mostly absorbed the charges associated with the repairs.  This was part of the company policy of standing behind their installed products and labor. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and the company’s willingness to stand behind their installation and equipment. Based on this experience with Sunsearch, in 2007 we requested that Everett Barber study the feasibility of adding a solar electric system to our home at 3 Deborah Lane in Farmington.  We were not interested in investing the necessary substantial sum of money with any other company, in fact, we told Everett we had no interest in pursuing the project if he were not the lead designer and “scientific clerk of the works.” We found the preparatory planning thorough, Everett’s concern to fully explain costs and project requirements exemplary and his ability to stand in the shoes of the customer invaluable.  Subsequently, the construction phase of the project was scheduled and carried out efficiently with personnel who were personable and thoughtful in their work on site.  This was particularly relevant for the personnel of Aegis Electrical Systems, LLC, the electrical contractor working in partnership with Sunsearch, whose personnel spent most time on site in the challenging matter of making necessary electrical connections for the new solar electric system. Also, it should be noted, the considerable paperwork of this project touching on various vendors, government requirements, applications for relevant subsidies, and necessity to secure approvals from various groups including CL&P, was done flawlessly, a testament to the personnel of Sunsearch and Aegis. In short, we were willing to commit to relatively expensive new technology because we were working with companies that we expect to remain in the business and stand behind their work for years to come.  They have earned the right to have us make this public endorsement of their company(s) and we are happy to do so."
